Khaman Dhokla

You’ll need:

  • 4 cups rice
  • 1 cup channa dal
  • butter milk
  • Green chillies
  • Ginger
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Soak the rice and dal for 12 hours.
  2. Blend with butter milk
  3. Add green chillies, ginger, , salt, and (to taste) and steam cook
  4. When thick and completely cooked, cut into pieces and fry in oil with mustard seeds
  5. Garnish with grated coconut and leaves
