Hello There,
My Joomla! Downloads are available here and this is my company site. Please click on the link(s) below to download what you came for. And oh, if you like food, just click on the site title ‘Food’ to see my other posts. Thank you for visiting.
Module -> Show Images:: Shows two images with links in a module position of your choice. Use it to showcase your latest recipes, or your latest work. Easy to use and quite lightweight, it shows two images/links by default. Can easily be changed. Contact me for help anytime.
Module -> Coupon Redirector:: I was in urgent need of product specific coupons functionality, which doesn’t seem to be present in virtuemart. Therefore, building on the fact that an unpublished product category shows up if you build the url manually, I’ve written this little coupon redirector. All it does is, accepts the names of 4 coupons and 4 redirection URLs (1 for each). When the customer enters the name of a coupon, it redirects to the URL, which is the URL for an unpublished virtuemart category, containing reduced price products. Easy and simple to use, it is quite lightweight. Let me know if you need help with anything in it. Please note that the coupons you use here do not have to be virtuemart coupons. You also do not need virtuemart to use this module.
Updated 08 Jan 2007 [0.3]: Added the ‘module class suffix’ parameter. Thanks to Jos van der Voort for the suggestion.
Updated 18 Jan 2007 [0.3]: Changed code to fix page crash bug. Thanks again to Jos for pushing me to do so.
Note 29 April 2008: The module must be published on the home page to work correctly. Thank you Paul for pointing this out.
Bot -> Inline Products for Virtuemart:: Ever wanted to showcase a product from inside a content item? This bot does it for you. The Inline Products for Virtuemart 1.0.12 plugin allows the inclusion of Virtuemart Items within any content item. It displays a link to view the product’s details as well as an ‘Add to cart’ link. To include products in any content item, simply add the following anywhere in your content item. {vm_inline_products id=”P01, G01, G02, P02, P03″} where “P01″ and other such text is your Virtuemart product code. This bot can be used in places like food retail sites for example where recipes may be listed. If a recipe is endorsing one or more products, just include the bot so the visitor can add the product to cart right there. Do remember to publish the bot before using it.

Hi! I’m french, excuze my bad english, I would like to display more than 2 images in your module for Joomla!I didn’t display the php script yet but I would like to avoid a big bug ;o)) read you soon !ugo

hello ugo,
you’ll need to do three things. first - edit the module xml file to accept another image and second, edit the html in the module php file to display another image and third, edit the beginning of the php file where parameters are fetched from joomla, to fetch the extra parameters you added in the xml.
its as simple as that. hope this helped.

I’m trying to use the VM inline BOT… with VM 1.0.14… and it does not really want to work.
BOT is enabled and I do also get a replacement of the tag. But the SKU is not found. SKU is ok.
Is it a know issue since you state the BOT is for VM 1.0.12?
I really like the function and hope you have a quick fix…

will this great bot ever be released for the latest release of virtuemart which only works in joomla 1.5? just wondering. thanks

Jeff: I apologise for not responding to your earlier comment - no bother at all.
Pure procrastination on my part - thing is, I’m aware we need to port
our components over to J!1.5 (we love our bots!), the issue is that we
are quite short staffed at the moment and one just keeps hoping that
the problem will be solved the next day, so your comment can be
answered positively.
To answer your question; Yes, it will eventually make its way towards J! 1.5, though when it will, I may not be able to say.

Peter: Could you send me temporary admin details of your website please? Also do note that the bot has only been tested with J! 1.0.12 and VM 1.0.12.
