If its one thing doesn’t like saving time on, it’s her sauces. This was simmered for 3 hours before it was pronounced fit for human consumption.

This used Vine as the base, which impart a nicer flavor than the usual variety. Also include was plenty of , some , celery and a bit of chopped onion.

Towards the end, check the seasoning and add some salt and pepper as required. Finally, when its done, finely chop the and stir into the . Add a dash of extra virgin in the end for a little more flavor.

Mix with cooked and serve. Some crusty bread goes nicely with it.

  1. Like SAIF says, VAAAAAVVVVV…..

So many recipes per days or food articles.
On top of that those that I like n will like to try to make myself. Only 1 problem Olive oil is to expensive to experiment, but I’ll try, so recommend a affordable brand for bignners.
Also, Sid try to modify or edit Zainabs’ recipes with Indian context, i.e. spices and indgridents available here.
Coz u couldn’t cook in her kitchen as u weren’t comfirtable with things available there, so U knw U’ll understand our position. ;)

  2. Hi Jas - glad you liked the dish. About the ingredients, why don’t you tell what you have trouble procuring and I’ll let you know what to substitute or where to get it.

You can skip olive oil to start with, however, considering you will be using it sparingly, it will probably last a while. So, go ahead and pick it up!

  3. What a lovely recipe - I was undecided what to cook tonight and now I’m decided, so thank you!
