Review: Curry in a Hurry, Sector 18, NOIDA

No cooking is done here, just takeaways of ready made food. While their operation is quite slick in terms of equipment and organisation, they need to pay a little more attention to the food served.
I tried their Red Curry with Vegetables, Red Curry with Chicken, Vegetarian Dim Sums and Chicken Dim Sums. Their red curry is quite good, with a little overdose of lime leaves, but good nonetheless - problem is, they jealously guard it and border on miserly when doling it out. Consequently, what you get is more rice and less curry. Then there is their habit of mixing raw bell peppers, tomatoes and onions into the the stuff. So what is delivered to you is an unappetising slop that you know is something like what was expected, but not quite there. Worth a try.
The dim sums! Now thats another topic altogether. These pieces of art had evidently been stored for a while judging by the stiff, hard and brown areas on the flour wrapper. Someone should tell them, dim sums don’t get better with age. Each and every piece, repeat - every piece was broken from the bottom. They’re also quite small and the concept of ‘value for money’ is evidently not something this take away considers.
Try the red curry, the mutton curry is quite good too - if they give you enough. Stay as far away from the dim sums as you can. Meal for 2: INR 400 whereabouts.
