Tastespotting Shuts Down
By Sid • Jun 18th, 2008 • Category: PostsI’m sad today. One of my favourite-est food sites on the net - Taste Spotting, has been shut down, due to, as they say, ‘legal complications’. Without pondering over the cause, Tastespotting provided so much inspiration for my food pictures, garnishes and recipes, that one could well consider it a ‘mother lode’ of sorts, when it came to food inspiration.
I do hope they resolve their issues and come back soon!

Well now, it’s gone and had never run across it. I find it interesting to note how we find blogs that become our regular reads. For example Sid, you left a comment on a blog that I used to read daily (but is no longer extant)and now I’m part of Chef at Large. Sometimes I’ll be looking for something specific and and will research it on one of my message boards and then get directed to various blogs and then become enthralled in something about which I had been unaware…and so it goes on. I learn something new every day in the Blogosphere! Isn’t it wonderful?:-)

Yes, there’s so much to learn all the time. Do you use Firefox or Internet Explorer? If you use Firefox, have you heard of StumbleUpon yet? If you use Firefox and haven’t used StumbleUpon yet, I’ll install it for you when we meet - I think you will like it.
I think I have Firefox, is it Mozilla Firefox? I’m fairly sure it’s on my laptop but haven’t used it because I didn’t know if it was safe.
